Kreston Isle of Man attend Asia Pacific Conference
Kreston’s 2017 Asia Pacific Conference was held in the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia,
from 3rd – 6th August attracting 53 delegates from 15 countries. Attending from Kreston Isle of Man
was Client Services Director Tanya O’Carroll.
Hosted by member firm Kreston John & Gan, the conference business agenda focused on “Being a
leader in a Data Driven World”.
Key Note speaker this year was futurist and leading authority on technology trends Patrick
Schwerdtfeger from Trend Mastery in California. Patrick delivered two sessions looking at the
technology trends which will have an impact on the accounting profession and the commercial world –
including artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain and fintech.
‘The conference really helped us to develop a better understanding of how our profession is changing
in relation to new technologies. I am looking forward to discussing with our team how we can
implement these changes within Kreston IOM’.
